Timber Specialists
In 1995 the three founders of Timber Specialists got together from a variety of different backgrounds to form the company. Peter Jenkinson, John Leatham and Kevin Smith started trading in January 1996 with a staff of 5!
Thanks to the support of their customer base the company traded far in excess of predictions and estimates and in 1998 they approached Ron Bremner to form a new company in Sheffield with great success.
Over the years the company has grown in size and structure to a point where we now have a combined sales total well in excess of £10 million. With a workforce of over 60 people we have a combined timber expertise of over 500 years.
Much of the companies success is down to an unbeatable 24 hour delivery service and keeping the company up to date with market demand.
Our Huddersfield and Sheffield company now hold accreditation for both FSC and PEFC Chain of Supply.
