Chairman	Peter Jenkinson
	Peter is the Chairman of the Company and his background until starting full time at Timber Specialists was from the Joinery profession.  He tells us he started working at 14 years old with his father. A fully qualified joiner, Peter brings his experience to bear ensuring our customers get unbeatable service levels.

Director	Kevin Smith
	Kevin is a Director of the company who joined the timber trade when he was 20 years old after experiencing years of mangement training and sales experience moved over to Yorkshire over 30 years ago. Kevin concentrates his time on the sales side of the operation as well as co-ordinating the purchasing and Health and Safety matters at the Company.

Director
	John retired from the company at Christmas 2007 to spend more time with his family but retains his shareholding in the company. John was a Regional Director for a major builders merchant in the mid 1990's after working in the timber trade for over 35 years.

Company Secretary	Derek Hollings
	Derek combines his duties at Huddersfield with those at Sheffield and Immingham.  Involved with formulating Management Accounts Derek also looks after many other aspects such as Health & Safety. A key member of staff Derek splits his working week between the three companies.

Administration	Lynne Briers
	Lynne is our credit controller and purchase ledger manager who plays the 'nice lady' chasing outstanding balances from our account holders. Lynne is another one of the 'joined the trade from school' gang. She also plays a major part in our I.T. operation ensuring it works to plan.

Works Manager	David Spence
	Again joined the timber trade from school, David joined Timber Specialists very early in the company set up back in the mid 1990's.  His flexibility and management skills now keep the yard operation running very smoothly and keeps our transport fleet of five vehicles, lawfully working to schedule to enable us to offer a 24 hour delivery service.

Internal Office Staff

Hardwood Manager	John Conheeney
	Another lifetime member of the timber trade joining the trade straight from school.  John has extensive experience in various aspects of the business having been an external salesman as well as years of working in the office. Now responsible for our Hardwood operation he combines this with being in charge of the Internal Sales Office.

Internal Sales	Gavin Coxhead
	From 'down south' Gavin brings youth to our sales operation.  Originally from Newbury Gavin worked for a large national builders merchant before joining us in November 2003.  Now responsible for both our Sheet Materials and Doors & Joinery department. Nice lad if you can ever understand a word of what he is saying!!

Counter Sales	Liam Conheeney
	Liam is John's son and looks like he is following in his dad's footsteps.  Again joining the trade straight from school Liam is the 'baby' of the company. Liam looks after the counter as well as telephone sales.

External Sales

Sales Executive	Damian Garside
	Another life time member of the timber trade, Damian is a product of the management training process and spent several years learning the business before becoming an external salesperson over 15 years ago. Damian knows the business and products very well.

Sales Executive	Andrew Craven
	Affectionately known as 'Big Bear' Andy looks like he left school only a couple of weeks ago! Andy is the perfect salesman with a personality many of his customers seem to appreciate.  Fully committed Andy is a very favourable asset to the company.

Sales Executive	Marcus Kelly
	Only joined us at the back end of 2007 Marcus comes to us with a builders merchant background but has soon settled in. Marcus has brought large amounts of new business to the company and is very well liked by customers and staff alike.
