Thanks to the support of their customer base the company traded far in excess of predictions and estimates and in 1998 they formed a new company in Sheffield with great success. This then led to the opening of the Humber branch in 2000.
Over the years the company has grown in size and structure to a point where we now have a combined sales total well in excess of £15 million. With a workforce of around 50 people, we have a combined timber expertise of over 500 years.
Much of the companies success is down to an unbeatable 24-hour delivery service and keeping the company up to date with market demand. All our sites are Chain of Custody Certified.
Joining us at the back end of 2007 Marcus came to us with a Builders Merchant background, and soon became a valuable member of staff.
Marcus has brought large amounts of new business to the company and is very well liked by customers and staff alike.
With the retirement of Peter Jenkinson and Kevin Smith in 2016 Marcus was the obvious candidate to take on the role of Managing Director.
